তখন ঘোড়সওযার এক জন বার্তাবাহক সেখানে গিয়ে য়েহূকে বলল, “রাজা এই কথা বললেন, ‘আপনি কি শান্তিতে এসেছেন?”‘য়েহূ বললেন, “শান্তি নিয়ে তোমার অতো মাথাব্যথা কিসের হে? আমাকে অনুসরণ করো|”প্রহরী য়োরামকে বললো, “ঘোড়া নিয়ে একজন খোঁজ নিতে গিয়েছে, কিন্তু এখনও ফেরে নি|”

So there went one on horseback to meet him, and said, Thus saith the king, [Is it] peace? And Jehu said, What hast thou to do with peace? turn thee behind me. And the watchman told, saying, The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again.
